Re: eastman lake 6/10/12

I have noticed a truck pulling a ranger trailer which blue fenders setting in the parking lot the last couple of weekends we been up there. Were going to start getting too the lake now from about 7pm till about 1 am we may get a few back to back friday/sat trips in the lake is dropping and the bigger bass are going to start ambushing here soon. they cut the amount of water going out again so they must be drawing from millerton going across in the big canal into brenda sough down stream.

You may have seen my uncles boat (old blue ranger)on the side of the road a few minutes from the lake... We were on the way there and had a blowout and like an idiot left his spare at home..By the time we went and got it we only had a couple hours of fishing before dark...

We got on the lake at 7:15 pm last night again it was windy but the bite was good. Bass were in 8 to 20 feet of water and all are fish were caught on jigs. We had 17 bass 6 of them weight in at between 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds. Bullet head jigs in pumpkin green/black green crystal or bullet head jigs in junebug both worked. They were 1/4oz. jigs and 4" yamamoto twin tail grub trailers. We got off the lake at 12:45 am. All the bass were caught in the 5mph area.
