Re: LCX 26cHD

At this point I would like you to call Lowrance Customer Care at 1-800-324-1356 to see if they have a patch or idea what might have happened to the software to create this issue.

Re: LCX 26cHD

This happens on all body's of water that I have fished. Clear lake, delta, folsom etc.

Any other ideas? This problem is somewhat new. It did not used to happen.

Re: LCX 26cHD

Hi Jon,

If you are on the Delta when you are zooming in and out there was an issue with all the navigation bouys that are on the Delta interfering with the operation of the LCX units. There is simply too much information coming into the unit and then when we push buttons, especially 4 or 5 pushes of the zoom button, the unit locks up and restarts it's function. The HDS units don't experience this because of a different set up of the software in the units and how it is processed.

My recommendation is to push your zoom button once, let the unit load that zoom picture, then push again and so on.

LCX 26cHD

I have a LCX 26cHD and a LCX28cHD that share a gps puck.

The 26 has an intermittent problem that occurs usually when i'm zooming in or out on the gps screen. It will freeze up and turn off, then try to re boot but it takes a very long time(10min to an hour) to turn back on. During this time the screen will show the "26hd" logo. The front unit(28) has no problems during this time.

Any ideas?
